The different ways how to get to Sardinia

If you are thinking to visit Sardinia for a cycling, hiking or an active holiday; this page could be useful to get some links and info about airports, airlines and ferry boat companies.
You can easily reach the island through the airports of Alghero, Cagliari and Olbia.

Alghero

Alghero is the airport to visit or to start one of our tours in the north western part of Sardinia.
The airport is max 15 minutes from the city and from there you can take a taxi or a shuttle.

Cagliari

Cagliari is the airport to visit or start one of our tours in the south of the island.
The airport is max 10 minutes from the city and from there you can take a taxi or a train.

Olbia

Olbia is the airport to visit or start one of our tours in the north eastern part of Sardinia.
The airport is not far from the city centre and from there you can take a taxi or a shuttle.

Specially from May to Sept all the airports are well connected with some or most of the european countries.

Sometimes is not easy to find cheap flights To and From the island but we suggest to book them in advance and avoid the mass tourist season time as the last part of July and August.

Alternatively, you can reach Sardinia with the ferry companies that dock in the ports of Olbia, Porto Torres and Cagliari.
Olbia and Porto Torres are well connect with the harbors in the northern part of Italy, France and Spain.
Cagliari is the port connected with Civitavecchia (Rome), Napoli and Sicily.
