D1 Arrival in Olbia
Arrival in airport, meeting with our staff and transfer to Palau.
Arrival in Palau, accommodation, short briefing and overnight stay in hotel.
D2 La Maddalena Archipelago
Afther breakfast, you will leave hotel by bike to reach Palau harbour.
Boarding with the bicycles and arrive in 30 min approximately to Maddalena Island, the biggest of the archipelago.
Once you will cross he bridge that links two islands, you will arrive to Caprera, a wonderful natural reserve where along the way it will possible to visit Garibaldi Museum; an accurate reconstruction of Garibaldi’s house that includes the general’s farm, home and library, all furnished with original pieces.
Stop in one of the beautiful white beaches to take a dive in the crystal water where you can have a stop.
In the afternoon, you will continue the island tour until to reach La Maddalena village where before leaving, it will be possible make a stop to drink something or maybe visit the center.
Once you back in Palau, free time to visit this small town not very far to Costa Smeralda.

D3 Around Palau
By bike towards Santa Teresa di Gallura and Porto Pozzo for a medium easy trip that will allow you to reach the end of the northern coast of Sardinia and will introduce you to the beaches and landscapes of this corner of Sardinia located just a few kms from Corsica.
Km 55 tot ascent approx 550
From Palau to Olbia crossing some places as Laconia, Cannigione (ancient village of fishermen, now important touristic destination) and Arzachena village where in its countryside its will be possible to have an archaeological visit at Nuraghe Albucciu where you will know the main type of ancient megalithic building found in Sardinia.
After visit you will reach San Pantaleo; a charming village with stone houses, built around a picturesque square with lively cafes and various craft shops.
In the late afternoon, after a beach stop along the way, you will reach your hotel in the center of Olbia.

D5 Around Olbia
Today you can either explore the inland or visit Olbia.
In the first option, following your GPS, you will get a glimpse of an inland part of Gallura whose natural, cultural and enogastronomic heritage is better preserved than that of its coastline.
As you leave the city, you will pass around Telti and from there, crossing Mediterranean scrub and cork areas, you will reach Monti.
A hilly town known for its vineyards that produce the Vermentino di Gallura.
Once in the village, in addition to visiting the old town, if available, you can visit the Cantina Sociale of Vermentino, a leading winery in this area and Sardinia.
If you are too tired for this bike stage, over a visit of Olbia, following our gps track you will reach the beautiful beach of Pittulongu.

By bike: approx 8 kms – Total Ascent: approx 100 m
By bike for a bike stage that will bring you to Baronie area.
Once you leave Olbia, you will cross some small countryside villages and other settlements built with the granite stones that abounds in this area.
In the afternoon, you’ll be back on the coast again and once you pass San Teodoro, Budoni and their wonderful beaches, you’ll reach Posada.
A delightful medieval village (listed by ”Club dei Borghi più belli d’Italia”, the ”Club of the Most Beautiful Villages in Italy”) perched on a limestone hill overlooking the ruins of an old castle.

D7 Around Posada
Your discovery journey of the east coast of Sardinia, is almost over!
Today you can decide whether to follow a short route that will introduce you to some of the most beautiful beaches in the area and the historic centre of Posada.
Alternatively, if you still want to experience this part of Sardinia, following your GPS, we suggest a fascinating route that will take you from the mountains to the coast, offering you fantastic landscapes through villages and small towns such as Torpè and Siniscola.
Once you are back near Posada, despite being very close to your hotel, your route will take you to the historic village where you can visit the Castle of Fava.
