After numerous requests, we have finally put together a tour for families with small children.
A tour that takes into account the needs of both big and small cyclists.
It is based around short distances, mostly flat paths, secondary roads and assistance.

D1 Arrival at Tresnuraghes

D2 The Planargia Plateau
Discover the small villages of Sardinia by bike including Flussio, famous for its basket making, and Tinnura with its sculptures and the murals that adorn the streets of this small town of Sardinia.
By bike: approx 15 km – Total Ascent: 220m

D3 Towards the sea
Leaving from Tresnuraghes via easy asphalted and dirt roads, you will arrive at Santa Caterina di Pittinuri for what will probably be the longest and most demanding stop of this tour.
Once on the coast do not miss S’archittu, a 15 m high natural limestone arch that has become a real attraction for this stretch of the western coast of Sardinia.
By bike: approx 37 km circa – Total Ascent: 500m

D4 The Sinis Peninsula
From Santa Caterina to Putzu Idu in the northernmost part of the Sinis Peninsula, a collage of environments and colours that are sure to impress.
Once you arrive at your hotel there will still be time for a long break on this stretch of coast, with fine sandy beaches with hints of grey
By bike: approx 33 km circa – Total Ascent: 200m

D5 The Giants of Mont’e Prama
From Putzu to the surroundings of San Salvatore, in the southern part of Sinis Peninsula for easy bike stage that will give you the opportunity to visit Cabras, museum, The Giants of Mont’e Prama statues and the food and wine production of this village.
Once you arrive near the hotel, do not miss out on visiting San Salvatore, which, like other religious villages in Sardinia, comes to life for the feast of its namesake saint once a year.
By bike: 30 km – Total Ascent 180 m

D6 The city on the sea
We are back again at the sea of ​​the captivating Sinis Peninsula, with the white quartz beaches of Mari Ermi and Is Aruttas.
This area is also home to the ruins of Tharros, a city founded by the Phoenicians around 800 BC, which led to the foundation of the city of Oristano, the capital of the ancient judicial kingdom of Arborea.
By bike: approx 25 kms – Total Ascent 100 m
